Songs That Bring Back Memories

I always find it amazing that certain songs can bring back memories complete with the feelings, the emotions, the look and the smell even of a certain part of your life.

I always have a favorite song and it changes weekly. It's as though when I listen to that song years later, the memories from that time (week, usually) of my life is like completely brought back to me. It's absolutely AMAZING.

I could be sitting here on my computer, reliving a time of great sadness, or one of the best times of my life just because of the song - and remembering things I wouldn't have remembered without the help of the song. It's really special.

This song... Was my all time favorite song when I was about... 4-6? It was from the movie Land Before Time; also my all-time favorite movie. I was obsessed with the series, watching them over and over again. I used to replay this song in my head when I was on the bus to Kingergarden, I hated the school, I hated the bus, but this song kept me remembering something I loved.

I listened to this song for the first time in 10 years... and the absolute emotions... The feelings, the memories... It was PROFOUND!

I could remember sheer happiness. I could remember my absolute love for the characters. I remembered innocence. I remember waking up in the morning without a plan in mind. I remember sitting watching these movies with my little sister, or brother, or even alone.

This song brought me back to that time of happiness, innocence... It was PERFECT. It was like reliving my childhood. I can confidently say that this song is the summary of my childhood.
